《等待方舟》是由知名导演皮奧特爾·舒爾金 执导的一部科幻片,耶日·斯圖爾 克裏斯提娜·楊達 卡裏娜·謝魯斯克 等倾情出演,该片讲述了: Set i n an undergr ound dungeon inhabit ed by bund led, ragged human beings, after t he nucle ar holocaust. The story follows th e wanderings of a hero through th e situation s of survival. P eople wait for th e Ark to a rrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delv ing de ep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cine ma in search of lo st gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On o ne hand the discovery o f unexpected g ems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experienc e. On the o ther hand t hough it makes one won der how many of these remarkable l ow-budget oddities, person al love affairs of director s never qui te fam ous and no w all but forgotten, have almost for ever slipped from memory? n any c ase what we have here is a li ttle post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really b etter than it has any right to. The dystopian near futu re of O-BI, O-B A find s a group of su rvivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Ear th inha biting an u nderworld concrete bunker and biding their tim e as they wait for the my sterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save the m. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, careful ly de signed to give hope to the malnourished and de sperate denize ns of the b unker, while in the me antime the dome that separates their miserable exist ence f rom the nuclear wint er outside i s slowly caving in. What first striked me about t he mov ie is the design of the bunker and the de piction of the survivo rs. The surviv ors are gau nt, filthy and terri ble-looki ng penitents, dressed in rags an d aimlessly wandering the ne on-lit halls o f the bunk er lik e automaton s. The bunk er is a rundown, seedy place, with bright ne on lights p eering fr om all s ides like the eyes of m alignant beasts. O n one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystop ian f uture but t he m ovie ne ver stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. I nstead it combi nes biting politic al satire with the bleak outlook o f a world with no futur e, black com edy with bar bs on apathy, rel igion and power. Th e surviv ors, for example, ar e fed some kind o f flour d ropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later o n we discover the fo od s upervisor uses books a nd the Bibl e itself a s fille r for this meagre meal. There are many such shor t symbolic touches, perh aps not li fe-changing or fa ith-res toring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sur e; O -BI, O-B A is no t your run -of-the-mil l sci- fi schlock. It overcomes its modes t budget with creativity and has genuine artist ic aspirations both from a writi ng and directing perspective. My opinion is that it shou ld have been f ilmed in bl ack and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmo spheric light and shadow to gr eat effe ct and it wo uld have registered even better in stark black and w hite. T he blue-gre en neon on the other hand outstays its wel come after a while. Jus t a minor gri pe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its h eart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELO VE and you39;re gett ing there . See it if you can find it. “我又给您装了两枚美 人果,您不管是自己用,还是卖, 都是可以的。”说到这里, 她顿了顿 ,笑着道: “老祖,那个虎坤龟 的大龟壳实在太大了,我们 没人能弄开,所以…… 这活就交给 您了,回头您弄好了,赏我一个趁手的龟盾就行!”
